After refurbishing the Boathouse venue to it's original glory following storm damage, the operators of the venue received negative feedback from musicians and guests regarding the sound quality of the space during live music performances.

BBA assessed the existing space and provided design advice to improve the acoustic performance of the venue for live music events while also reducing internal noise levels for it's day-to-day use as a restaurant.

The project was a success with musicians and members of the public reporting a much improved acoustic environment.
